What are some good insurance companies in the USA?

I can't suggest the best insurance but I can give you the bad experience I have with Geico so that you may not make the same bad choice that I made.

I was having insurance for 3 years. I expect the amount to be reduced given the track record I have like other insurances. But they didn't even reduce a single penny.

You might have heard this quote many times. You know the best among your friends only when you in the struggle. Everyone is best as long as there are no issues. Similarly, All insurances serve the best if everything goes smooth. 

A few months back, when I was going on my lane, some other guy came into my lane suddenly. I tried my best to avoid the accident and steered onto the other lane. Luckily, just escaped with small scratches on the front bumper. Even police confirmed that the mistake is with the other guy and mentioned the same in the case file.

I explained all the details to Geico claims and explicitly mentioned NOT to give my details to the other car insurance company. But the next day, they called me and took all the details. There was no update for almost 3 weeks. In the end, when I called Geico, it seems other insurance agreed to pay only 80%.

In order to fight this case, it seems as per the great GEICO policy, I should get repaired first and then they fight... Sth like this they mentioned. Who cares dude? The whole point of having insurance is to cover the expenses? why should I pay my hard earned money to who don't care about these incidents? Now, I can’t even access claims since I quit their service.
